A Celtic Christmas:
Rejoicing in Our Divine Child

An exploration of Irish story, song and poetry to celebrate the Divine Child within us all as part of the Christmas story.

Facilitated by Rev. Eileen Mahoney with Rev. Nóirín Ní Riain, Ireland, and her two sons Owen Ó Súilleabháin, USA and Mícheál Ó Súilleabháin, Ireland.

Christmas is the time when we celebrate moving from darkness into light, the theme of light returning - so magnificently embodied by the birth of a human/divine baby over 2000 years ago.

Just as the light of the sun brings life to the outer landscape, so too can this be a time of rebirth within us. Let us welcome our own Divine Child into this mystery of life, let us participate in the promise of this returning light by connecting with this Child, Jesus and the Cosmic Divine Child within us all.

Participants: Please bring a candle and matches that we can light together in an opening ritual together of centering and presence.

Facilitators

Rev. Eileen Mahoney, USA

Eileen combines her rich practice as an ordained Interfaith minister with her experience of expressive arts and mindfulness, to support and companion groups and individuals to re-connect with and enliven their Divine Spark. This empowers them to address life’s ongoing challenges with wonder, joy and equanimity.

Rev. Nóirín Ní Riain, Ireland,

Owen Ó Súilleabháin, USA &

Mícheál Ó Súilleabháin, Ireland

Nóirín has been singing with her sons Mícheál and Owen since they were in the womb. Together they have performed all over the world, recorded albums together, led cultural and spiritual pilgrimages to Ireland, and more recently they created an online learning community of curiosity called Dámh Imeall - (h)Edge School.

This is a family in the culture of Celtic Ireland, a wisdom tradition that they live to hand on and generously share with others of every walk of life around the world.

Nóirín was ordained an interfaith minister by the One Spirit Interfaith Foundation in London in 2017 and has presided over at least 50 rituals, marriages and other great thresholds.

Eileen, Noirin, Michael and Owen all have active coaching practices. To reach them:
