Dismantling racism takes time, and we all must actively participate in shaping this work in community. It is essential that everyone participate in the process and that all voices are heard.
In our ongoing effort to become an antiracist organization, One Spirit offers this free monthly discussion for students and graduates who have completed Been in the Struggle or similar antiracism training.
The discussions will focus on five pillars of Antiracist Spirituality:
Build community
Accept discipline of accountability
Walk deeper into rather than away from racial identity
Do the work with joy
Recognize sacred in the midst of the struggle
Co-facilitated by Rev. Dr. Salome Raheim, Rev. Dr. Sushmita Mukherjee, Rev. Nikki Happi, and Rev. Gordon Brode, we'll create a space for sharing and deep listening to nurture, challenge, and sustain our long-term antiracism efforts.
Please register to attend: no recordings will be available, but a summary will be shared.
Join us as we grapple with these issues in community.
