SPIRITUAL CITIZENSHIP

SPIRITUAL CITIZENSHIP

Facilitated by: Rev. Mark Fowler
Available by: Watch Online Recordings
Price: General Public: $ 100.00 | One Spirit Graduates and Students: $ 90.00
Elective Credit: 1

Over the course of our lives we are trained to understand what makes a good citizen. There are expectations we have to contribute to the society in which we live. And, religious and spiritual beliefs have a profound impact on what we consider to be the criteria for being a good citizen. We will explore some models of citizenship and the interconnection between politics, religion, and society.

During the session we will:

  • Explore the definitions and expectations of citizens from a societal and spiritual perspective.

  • Examine our own level of civic and spiritual participation in the societies and communities in which we live.

  • Consider what our sacred journeys guide us to understand about spiritual citizenship.

  • Create personal models for spiritual citizenship for our lives today.
