Wholeness is not a striving for perfection; it is learning to hold complexity with radical hospitality.

We are living in a time of fragmentation. Overwhelm is a natural response to fear and uncertainty. Rather than resist what is arising in us, in this workshop, we will be invited to a radical hospitality towards it all. Using myths, storytelling, poetry, art, spiritual practice and ritual drawn from many wisdom traditions, we will lean into our capacity to hold complexity with grace.

Who this workshop is for

This workshop is for anyone who is trying to bring deep inquiry into "what's mine to do?" in the face of the current "polycrisis" in our world including, but not limited to, systemic stresses on the environment, social and political upheaval, and the stresses of facing the world in our everyday lives, while keeping compassion, creativity and connection as anchors.

What you’ll explore

  • We have greater capacity to hold complexity and uncertainty than we may believe.

  • We may need to strengthen existing spiritual practices, and/or add new ones to navigate the wild seas of a precarious and uncertain time

  • We need to cultivate community, in both human and natural worlds, to find refuge and renewal

What you’ll experience

Register for this two-day workshop to attend to your inner and outer life, taking a deep dive into learning to be supple in your heart and soul, deepening spiritual practice (or learning new ones), and building and strengthening community engagement.

Through this exploration, you engage in deep conversation, listening to the mythic whispers of storytelling, poetry, art, chanting, blessing, spiritual practice, and ritual. You’ll participate in breakout sessions and large group sessions.

Following this workshop, you’ll be prepared to lean into complexity and uncertainty with compassion, creativity, and connection.

Two Sessions | 10:00am - 2:00pm ET, Saturdays — Mar 1 and Mar 15, 2025

Week 1 | Attending to Our Inner Life

In this session, we will explore ways to keep our soul alive, awake, and supple.

  • Creating a field of deep inquiry and invitation using poetry, art etc.

  • Leave participants with an invitation to deepen their practice over the next two weeks until we meet for the second session.

Week 2 | Attending to Our Interconnectivity and Interdependence

In this session, we will take the practice from the past fortnight of soul-tending to bring skills and resiliency to our interpersonal, communal and planetary engagements.

  • From this place of deepened inner work, we will extend outward into practices involving others and Mother Earth.

  • We will end with a ritual celebrating our interconnectedness and interdependence.
