How can we best nourish our souls, remember our calling and purpose, and live the meaningful lives we imagine and deserve?

This offering with Rev. David and Rev. Diane is a mini-retreat of reconnection that will incorporate practice, poetry, and prayer to encourage the soulful Presence that is at the core of our being.

About the Presenters

Rev. David Wallace (he/him)

Rev. David Wallace recently retired as a dean and senior teacher for One Spirit Interfaith Seminary in New York City, and is a faculty member of the spiritual direction program at the Rowe Center and an active officiant and spiritual director.  He is a graduate of St. John’s College in Santa Fe, NM, and has continued those studies as a lifelong student of the “great books” of philosophy and archetypal psychology. 

Rev. Wallace offers teaching and retreats at spiritual venues worldwide, and specializes in poetics, contemplative practice, and the wisdom texts of both the Eastern and Western traditions.

Prior to his work in interspiritual ministry and teaching, David had an extensive career in publishing and marketing, as well as award-winning work through the Soho galleries he created in New York City, The Enchanted Forest and After the Rain.

Known for his deep and passionate teaching style, his recent seminars on the Tao Te Ching, the Gnostic Gospels of Thomas and Mary, The Cloud of Unknowing and the Upanishads have drawn a worldwide audience as one of One Spirit’s most popular teachers.   He is currently working on a book, and shares a home in the Berkshire Mountains with his partner, senior Kripalu teacher Jurian Hughes, and their beloved dog Smitty.

Rev. Diane Berke

Rev. Diane Berke is a visionary spiritual leader, author, and educator, and is the Founder and Spiritual Director of One Spirit Learning Alliance. Ordained in 1988, she is a recognized pioneer in the field of interfaith and interspiritual education and has inspired countless individuals to live lives of purpose, meaning, and service.

With a background in psychology and a deep understanding of diverse spiritual traditions, Diane seamlessly bridges the psychological and spiritual realms to offer transformative teachings, spiritual inspiration, and companionship on the journey to those seeking to deepen their spiritual lives. Her compassion, wisdom, depth of presence, and commitment to service have made her a respected figure in the field of spiritual development.

Diane has worked closely with Andrew Harvey in his Institute for Sacred Activism, is a certified facilitator of the Circle of Trust® work developed by Parker Palmer and the Center for Courage and Renewal, and since 2021 has worked with Prosocial World and Contemplative Life to co-develop training programs in Prosocial Spirituality.

She maintains a private practice in spiritual counseling and companionship, and has led workshops and retreats on spiritual development throughout the United States and internationally.


Where can I access the recorded offering?

All One Spirit offerings are hosted on Hylo - our online community platform. Hylo access will be provided via email after registration is complete. Please check your spam and/or promotions folders for your confirmation email from One Spirit.
