You Know How to Minister.
But How Do People Find You?
You may know exactly what you're called to offer, yet find yourself struggling to explain it to others.
Maybe you've been putting off building a website. Perhaps social media feels like one more thing you're supposed to master. Or you have a ministry that's already taking shape, but you're unsure how to reach more people without turning your work into a sales pitch.
And then there's the question of money: How do you charge for work that comes from a place of service?
These are real challenges for ministers and spiritual practitioners. Most ministerial training prepares you to serve others, but offers little guidance on marketing, technology, or running a sustainable practice.
What if sharing your ministry didn't have to feel like selling yourself?
In this four-week workshop, Rev. Reina-Shay Broussard, Rev. Terri Lytle-Holcomb, and Rev. Terica D. Scott bring together practical marketing skills and spiritual discernment.
You'll learn how to describe your ministry, develop a brand that reflects who you are, make thoughtful choices about AI and digital tools, and approach pricing with greater confidence.
You'll also work on your own ministry throughout the course, with time to reflect, practice, exchange ideas, and try things out between sessions.
The aim isn't to turn you into a marketing expert. It's to help you communicate what you offer and make it easier for the people who need your work to find you.
“Your heart, your ethics, and your values are your marketing strategy.
What makes this workshop unique is that we do not separate practical marketing skills from spiritual formation. We approach branding, AI, technology, communication, accessibility, abundance, and pricing as opportunities for discernment rather than merely business decisions. Our facilitation team brings complementary experience in ministry, spiritual formation, business, digital marketing and technology, embodiment practices, communication, and community-building.
As ministers ourselves, we understand both the desire to share meaningful work and the discomfort many spiritual leaders experience when ministry begins to feel like “marketing.” We bring practical experience alongside an interspiritual framework that asks participants to remain rooted in who they are, what they value, whom they serve, and how they want to show up in relationship with others.”
—Rev. Reina-Shay, Rev. Terica, & Rev. Terri
What You’ll Work On
Over four weeks, you'll begin putting together the essential pieces of a marketing approach that feels right for your ministry.
Your Brand
Identify the values, qualities, and commitments you want people to recognize in your work.
Your Message
Find the words to explain who you are, what you offer, and whom you serve.
Your Relationship with AI
Learn practical ways AI might help while considering its limitations, biases, and ethical implications.
Your Digital Presence
Explore websites, social media, Google Business Profiles, email lists, and affordable tools without feeling like you need to do everything.
Your Next Steps
By the end of the series, you'll have a foundation to build on, a clearer sense of your path forward, and resources to use to build the future.
Your Approach to Money
Examine your beliefs about abundance, worth, and service, and begin developing a pricing strategy you can stand behind.
Your Four-Week Journey
-
What do you want people to understand about your ministry?
We'll begin with the values, experiences, and sense of purpose that shape your work. Using a guided Branding Workbook, you'll start defining what makes your ministry distinct and how you want to communicate it.
We'll also explore AI as a possible marketing tool. You'll practice writing effective prompts and consider when using AI makes sense—and when it doesn't.
You'll work on: Your ministry's brand foundation and an approach to AI that reflects your values.
-
When someone asks, "What do you do?" can you answer in a way that feels natural?
You'll create a Soul Statement: a short, personal expression of your ministry and the people you hope to serve.
Through guided exercises and small-group practice, you'll try different ways of sharing it. Between sessions, you'll be invited to use your Soul Statement in real conversations.
You'll work on: A clear introduction to your ministry that you can use for marketing.
-
You don't need to be everywhere online. You need to know which tools are useful for the work you're doing.
We'll look at websites, Google Business Profiles, social media, email communications, and free or affordable technology.
If you're just starting, you'll identify where to begin. If you already have a website or online presence, you'll review what's working and what needs attention.
We'll also look at accessibility, so the ways you share your work don't unintentionally exclude the people you're hoping to reach.
You'll work on: A manageable plan for building or improving your digital presence.
-
Money can be one of the hardest subjects to navigate when your work is rooted in care and service.
What does it mean to receive payment for your ministry? How do your beliefs about money influence what you charge, or whether you charge at all?
You'll explore your own relationship with abundance, develop a Personal Abundance Philosophy, and begin shaping a pricing strategy that considers both the people you serve and the needs of your ministry.
You'll work on: A thoughtful approach to pricing and sustaining your work.
More Than a Lecture Series
Each session includes a mix of teaching, reflection, centering practices, conversation, and hands-on exercises.
You'll work with a Participant Workbook, practice new skills in small groups, and have opportunities to put what you've learned into action between meetings.
The facilitators will also share a wealth of practical resources, including marketing self-assessment tools, branding exercises, AI prompt guidance, digital-tool recommendations, accessibility considerations, and pricing worksheets.
You'll be learning alongside other ministers and spiritual practitioners who are working through many of the same questions.
You don't have to arrive with a polished business plan, a website, or even a fully formed ministry. You can begin wherever you are.
